Day 1  We are Greeted at airport and transfer to the Hotel Best Western Irazu. (Standard rooms – Breakfast included)

Day 2  We begin discovering Costa Rica’s wonders by visiting the incredible Poas Volcano, the biggest geyser crater in the world. It is said the mood of the mountain is in reflected in her waters. A scenic drive awaits us past coffee and sugar plantations, up to the top of the Poas Volcano National Park . Observe the enormous crater with its deep green lake, hike into one of its many trails at this national Park. Then visit Sarchí, the artesian town known for it's wood work and oxcart factories. Breakfast at hotel. Snack & lunch included during the tour. Lodging at the Hotel Best Western Irazu.

Day 3  Today we will spend the day enjoying the many attractions at Costa Rica ’s newest natural & adventure park. Turu-Bari Tropical Park. Here we will have the opportunity to discover and learn about butterflies visiting the Butterfly Farm, admire a tree fossil. Walk along their unique botanical collections (palms, cactus, bromeliads, ferns), hike through amazing forest trails, and enjoy the thrill of adventure tours, including the famous "canopy tour", and it’s aerial tram. Snack & lunch included during the tour. Lodging at the Hotel Best Western Irazu .

Day 4  During the morning we are introduced to the 'Costarican’ Culture and history. Visit museums, parks, and historic places in San Jose, including La Sabana Metropolitan Park of the Capital City. The residential area of Rohrmoser. At Plaza Esmeralda, we are able to observe the process of manufacture and display of the best and finest costarican handcrafts, made of leather, wood and ceramic. The National Theater, Plaza de la Cultura, fascinating Gold Museum, Plaza de la Democracia, the National Museum, the Supreme Court of Justice and more are all on the agenda today.  Visit the National Park, the National Library, the Electoral Supreme Court and the old and charming neighborhoods of San Jose (Amon - Otoya & Tournon).

After Lunch, our exciting journey will take us up to the majestic Arenal Volcano, the country's most active with continuous eruptions.  En Route we explore the region of San Carlos, famous for it’s fertile plantations and emerald reen scenery. Upon arrival we will enjoy and relax in the rejuvenating Tabacon Hot Springs, while gazing up at the massive dark volcano in the distance.  This is a truly breathtaking experience.  Breakfast at hotel Lunch & dinner included during the tour. Lodging ate the Hotel Lavas de Tacotal.

Day 5  Morning is at leisure to enjoy the Hot Springs pools at the hotel, admire the magnificent view of the volcano, and hike through the natural trails at the hotel or just relax. Just past noon we head to Flamingo Beach and, on the way, we will visit Indian Community of Guaitil. This small village preserves the ancient traditions of Latin American pottery making. A visit to this quaint little village will allow us to see original methods of pottery as well as a glimpse into the Costa Rican lifestyle. It is a great opportunities to pick up unique souvenirs for the folks back home. Breakfast at hotel, Lunch included during the tour. Lodging at the Hotel Best Western Flamingo Beach at Playa Flamingo.

Day 6  Day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities, and/or the magnificent Flamingo Beach. Breakfast at hotel. Lodging at the Hotel Best Western Hotel Flamingo Beach.

Day 7  Day at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities, and/or the magnificent Flamingo Beach. Breakfast at hotel. Lodging at the Hotel Best Western Hotel Flamingo Beach.

Day 8  Today we head back to San Jose. Along the way we stop at Hacienda La Pacifica Ecological Center. At La Pacifica we learn more about Costa Rica's Natural History and Wildlife Conservation Program. La Hacienda runs one of the most important programs to heel and reinsert into their natural habitat, endangered species that are being reintroduce to nature after human capture. Breakfast at hotel. Snack & lunch included during the tour. Lodging at the Hotel Best Western Irazu.

Day 9  Bid farewell to Costa Rica and be thankful we took so many pictures to remember our great adventure. Transfer to the international airport to take the flight back home.
