Day 3 Beijing. Today we tour Tian en Men Square the largest in the world. Afterwards, we visit the Palace Museum. Built from 1406 to 1420 it was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and was home to 24 emperors. The Temple of Heaven is where emperors worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvests. Being immersed in this great ancient culture will fill you with awe and wonder

Day 4 Great Wall. After breakfast our tour continues to the magnificent Great Wall of China. Stretching 4,000 miles it shielded Chinese Emperors from invasion for centuries. It took 2,000 years to build and is visible to the astronauts from space. Our odyssey then continues to the Ancient Ming Tombs, 40 kilometers northwest of Beijing. Construction started in the 15th century on the tombs where 13 Ming Emperors are buried. Return to Beijing where we are treated to an acrobatic show and dinner.

We can arrange a three-day Yangtze River cruise that cruises through serene and stunning vistas of this great river. Sailings are typically from Chongqing to Yichan, continuing by motor coach to Wuhan (North of Guilin). We can arrange a trip to Hong Kong or to Xian, China to see the incredible Terra Cotta Warriors.
