There are many priceless treasures which can be seen during our visit to this holy place. KUSADASI, TURKEY – became the gateway to Ephesus with the discovery of amazing antiquity there. The Library of Celsus is one of the greatest finds of our day. At one time it held the greatest collection of knowledge on Earth. Mary’s Home at Meryamana is a major pilgrimage sight. ISTANBUL, TURKEY – is home of Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, the Byzantyne Cathedral and Cistern of St. Sophia, the longest suspension bridge in the world and a huge bazaar where shopping is a truly exotic adventure. HERAKLION, CRETE – is the sight of the ancient palace of Knossos. The Minoan empire may have originated here about 6,000BC. The Archeological Museum at Heraklion treasures some of the most important Greek antiquities in the world. It is near here that the German paratroopers descended from the skies during WWII to conquer the island. CORFU – is the northwestern most island of Greece. The island is very beautiful and features not one but two Venetian Fortresses. The archeological museum, town hall and 12th century Church of St. Jason are all worthy sights to explore. VENICE, ITALY – is famous for its many canals and colorful gondolas, St. Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace where Da Vinci was tried, Bridge of Sighs, and glassblowing and lace-making shops. DUBROVNIK – in the former Yugoslavia is a very picturesque coastline with a long, colorful history. ASHDOD JERUSALEM – is near Jerusalem, which is one of the most revered cities on earth. Here we find Mount Zion, Tomb of David, Way of the Cross, Church of Holy Sepluchre, Wailing Wall, Dome of the Rock and the Jaffa Gates. ALEXANDRIA EGYPT – is famous for Roman and Hellenistic relics. PORT SAID CAIRO – is not too far from here we find the great Pyramids at Giza, the adjacent Sphinx, Khan el Khalili Bazaar, and the Citadel. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo has an astounding collection of ancient and priceless objects.
