The Best of Hawaii
Oahu - Maui - the Big Island
For groups with 8 or more persons (CS060)

Our Small Group Tours are your best value for dollar, period.  Our volume contracting for hotels and services provides you with travel at wholesale prices.  Our team of experts has refined our "free and easy" itineraries to combine the must-see sights with some time on your own.

Day 1 We arrange your flight to Honolulu, Hawaii.  We are greeted at Honolulu International Airport by our friendly guide and transferred to our hotel.  A special treat is a Lei Greeting at the airport.

Day 2 Enjoy continental breakfast and reception with our tour director and then step out for our first sightseeing excursion.  See the sunken Arizona Battleship Memorial at Pearl Harbor.  Step into the Punchbowl Cemetery and Honolulu Lookout.  Other sights include Chinatown, Iolani Palace, and Kamehameha's Statue.  The afternoon is free for shopping for Hawaiian apparel and souvenirs.

Day 3-4 Our tour director will advise us on activities that we can undertake on our own.  Visit Waikiki Beach, Kuhio Beach, or Honolulu's great zoo.  On day 4 we step out for traditional Hawaiian Feast, a Luau.  Complete with Hawaiian music and merriment it is a terrific introduction to Hawaiian culture and hospitality.

Day 5 Mid-morning we are transferred to the airport for the short flight to Maui, the "Valley Island".  On arrival sightseeing begins with a visit to the lush greenery of Iao Valley and the famed Iao Needle.  then to the former whaling center of Lahaina.  Free time to explore the colorful town, with its great Banyan Tree spreading across the town park.  Then we check into our hotel, across the street from the beach in the resort area of Kihei.

Day 6 We have a full day to explore the island on our own.  We can arrange optional excursions such as the "Road to Hana".  This amazing road was built by Chinese immigrants at the turn of the century.  Cross 54 bridges and pass myriad waterfalls on the way to the "Seven Sacred Pools", an ancient Hawaiian sight.  Alternately visit the Maui Ocean Center, a state of the art aquarium and marine park.

Day 7 Visit Haleakala National Park, a long dormant volcano.  See rare Proteas, flowers, and one of the rarest plants on Earth.  Cinder Cones of iron rise up from the volcano floor.  Return to the hotel in the afternoon with time to enjoy its amenities.

Day 8 This morning fly from Maui to the "Big Island" of Hawaii.  On arrival group is met and transferred to the hotel on the Kohala Coast.  Excursions that we can arrange include a full day circle island tour that visits Volcanoes National Park, or a tour to historical Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Park.

Day 9 and 10 We have two full days at leisure with plenty of activities to choose from.  Walk the harbor area or take a snorkeling trip (not included in price) to one of the nearby coral reefs?

Day 11  We depart from Kona Airport for the flight home.  Flights are likely via Honolulu.
