Exotic Malaysia
"Rainforests and Friendly Asian Culture"
Kuala Lumpur – Malacca – Kuala Tembeling – Rainforest – Batu Caves – Rubber Plantation

Day 1 Overnight flight from your gateway to Malaysia.

Day 2 Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy our flight with arrival into the capital of Malaysia. Transfer to our superior tourist class Hotel. We are invited for a short evening tour of this flowery, tropical city, after dinner at our hotel.

Day 3 After a full breakfast we seek out Jame Mosque, Old Secretariat, Old Market Square, Central Market, Sze Ya Temple, Jalan Petaling (Chinatown) and Sri Mariamman Temple. Hear about the cultures of Malaysia in the Art Museum, Train Station and the National Museum.

Day 4 Malacca. Depart by motor coach to Malacca, the cradle of Malay Culture. It's rich history¸ and character is owed to it's Portuguese, Dutch and British invaders. Discover St. Paul Hill, Porta De Santiago and the oldest temple in Malaysia, and Cheng Hoon Teng.

Day 5 Kuala Tembeling. Our adventure continues as we depart the capital for the world's oldest living rainforest--Taman Negara! We travel first to Jerantut and then travel the last 16 kilometers of winding road to the Kuala Tembeling resort. Overnight in the resort.

Day 6 Our Rainforest experience continues in paradise. A three hour morning journey by boat (there are no roads) delivers us to park headquarters at Kuala Tahan. The 60 kilometer guided boat trip passes through jungle growth and huge Merbau Trees with immense root systems. We pass by Orang Asli settlements on the Southern banks along the way. From here our guides will use their knowledge of the park to select the best trails for those who wish to further explore.

Day 7 We swing back to Kuala Lumpur from our rainforest retreat. En route we will visit the Batu Caves, and time permitting, a working rubber plantation.

Day 8 The morning is free for souvenir shopping. The afternoon is dedicated to the Bird Park, Deer Park, Butterfly World and Seri Negara district (Rich Homes). Evening departure for our overnight flight home. In the jet reflect on our primeval rainforest odyssey.

Day 9 Arrive home with great stories to tell of a wonderful adventure.
