Day 1 Enjoy your affordable flight into Nashville, Tennessee. We are welcomed by our tour guide, transfer to our hotel and have time to relax.

Day 2 We tour Nashville and see the Country Music Hall of Fame (see Elvis Presley's solid gold Cadillac), the homes of famous country music stars and the recording studios of Music Row. Tonight is a night to remember as we are honored to attend the "Grand Ole Opry" for an live evening performance.

Day 3 Missouri is our destination today. Traverse America's heartland and journey through Kentucky, the hardwood forests of Missouri and into the Ozark Mountains. Arrive in Branson, home to dozens of Country and Western's biggest theaters including those of the Osmond Family, Bobby Vinton, Mel Tillis, Mickey Gillis and Wayne Newton.

Day 4 Enjoy the shows and nightlife. See the Lennon Brothers breakfast show, a lunch cruise and show on Table Lake aboard the showboat "Branson Belle". A special treat this evening will find us having dinner with one of Branson's famous music stars. We can arrange a special dinner where we can to talk and joke with a famous country songwriter/performer.

Day 5 On to Memphis Tennessee! Our motor coach delivers us south. The highlight of the day is Graceland, the famous estate of Elvis Presley. Our guided tour will introduce us to Graceland's gardens, the Elvis Presley Gravesight and Elvis's private plane. We'll walk through the opulent mansion that the great one walked through many years ago. We return to Memphis with time for shopping and this evening we can attend a blues club on Beale Street.

Day 6 Our motor coach whisks us to Lafayette. This city was settled by French Canadians who had been evicted from Acadia centuries ago. Their exciting and energetic culture lives on today in song, language and every day life.

Day 7 Smell the flowers of Rip Van Winkle Gardens this morning where blossoms form a fragrant fabric over the land. In the afternoon we venture into Vermillionville, home of Cajun and Creole cuisine, music and great shopping. We'll see the grand Oak tree that shades an area 200 feet in opposite directions and we'll step into St. John's Cathedral. Enjoy authentic Cajun food as we dine out tonight.

Day 8 In St. Martinville we'll share shade under the Oak tree immortalized by Longfellow and then board our boat for a cruise through the winding boggy swamp of Atchafalaya Basin. We're sure to see alligators sunning on the banks! This afternoon we visit the Governor's Mansion, Louisiana State Capitol Buildings and the Arts and Science Center. We continue on to classy New Orleans.

Day 9 New Orleans a thriving center of arts, southern culture and music. We'll stroll the French Quarter and witness Pirate's Alley, Jackson Square, the Garden District, the Superdome and St. Louis Cathedral. Visit a fascinating "above ground" cemetery ("Cities of the Dead") and, time permitting, see Lake Pontchartrain. How about a 3 hour Mississippi River Cruise aboard SS Natchez??

Day 10 We are escorted to the airport for the flight home. Dream of the lucky day we return.
