A great and affordable introduction to the history, culture and peoples of Mexico.  The Yucatan is home to the descendants of the Mighty Maya.  The Maya were a fascinating culture that had a remarkable calendar, invented the wheel but did not use it and absorbed the mighty Toltec Empire after being conquered by them.  

Day 01  Arrive to Cancun, México. Meet your Discovery Representative and transfer to your hotel. Briefing at the hotel and welcome dinner.

Day 02   Breakfast at the hotel; today’s excursion takes us to the incredible Mayan ruins of Tulum, over looking the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean Ocean . Continue to Xel-Ha, a natural inlet and the perfect place to relax, swim and snorkel. Return to Cancun and tonight performance at the Mall “ La Isla ” one of Cancun’s most popular shopping centers. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 03   Right after breakfast, we will take a tour to the Capital of the Mayan civilization, Chichen Itza, guided tour of the site where we will visit El Castillo, the observatory, the ball game and the sacrated cenote where sacrifices where made to honor the gods. Then transfer to Ik-Kil cenote, a natural under ground river where we will swim and cool off from the heat. On the way back we will make a stop at Valladolid , a colonial town founded in 1542 by the Spaniards. Return to Cancun and dinner at a Mexican restaurant with live mariachi bands.

Day 04   Today, right after breakfast we will visit and perform at X-carte theme park, we will performe at the main lobby for visitors to attend and admire our performance as they walk into the park; reminder of the day to spend at this fantastic place, swim at the under ground river and visit the aquarium, the butter fly pavillon and relax at the beach. At night we will attend to the fabulous Night Show where more than 200 actors represent different stages of the Mexican history with folkloric dances. Return to the hotel.

Day 05   Breakfast at the Hotel; at schedule time, transfer to the airport for your home bound flight.
